This synagogue is located on a hilltop in Poway. The structure is a unique concrete tiltup in that the precast panels are cantilevered out of the ground which allows the roof to be supported on very slender steel columns. This gives the effect of the roof almost floating above the walls below. Stain glass windows give the walls intrigue and add an array of color. Ribbon windows all around provide ample light into the interior space. In addition the sanctuary, the building has a foyer, restrooms, storage rooms and a commercial kitchen.
